A bell from Vietnam

64,480 were needed to ring this spectacular bell presented by Rouillac OVV on Thursday January 22, in Vendôme (cabinet Portier & Associés). Made in Vietnam in the19th century, in chased bronze, it is adorned with two dragons facing each other around the flamed pearl, the handle in the shape of prunus branches in bloom (h. 25, diam. 14.5 cm). The artifact hangs from a bronze support decorated with dragons, wrapping around the uprights (81 x 41 x 32 cm).As for the Qianlong (1736-1795) period gilt-bronze incense burner, it has been withdrawn from the sale (Gazette no. 2).
