Auction: A French Garden Party Rakes in €2,8 M

Rouillac's 34th Garden Party held at the Château d'Artigny, on June 19 and 20, garnered €2.8 M and resulted in several preemptions, notably from the Louvre. The 18th-century ceremonial bowl from Northern Alaska was won by a New Yorker for €65,000. A 1930 work by Raoul Dufy, which sold for €210,000, was the highest bid.
